We are delighted to have, at long last, a committee member who will oversee
the workings of the Heritage Volunteers and her name is Christine Ferguson .
The Area Committee and The Arts Society, London, have for some time been
discussing how Trails of Discovery should be perceived and now it has been
decided that this title can encompass a much wider range of “trails” whereas
before volunteers dealt mainly with Churches.

Now it is wide open to interpretation and to those who have other ideas and

We hope to be involved through the Area Committee along with our Young
Arts representative Careen Lindsay in a project initiated by Lord Bruce which
involves a trail around Broomhall House.
Christine would also like to research a trail following the Pilgrims Way from
Dunfermline to St Andrews but this is very much in its infancy.
